Rising health care costs are one of the biggest problems we face as a nation… Find prices, research issues, and share your prices at ClearHealthCosts.com.Jeanne Pinder, CEO ClearHealthCosts
“By law, Medicare’s payments approximate a hospital’s cost of providing a service, including overhead, equipment and salaries… When we debate health care policy, we seem to jump right to the issue of who should pay the bills, blowing past what should be the first question: Why exactly are the bills so high?” — Steve Brill, Time Magazine “Bitter Pill: Why Medical Bills Are Killing Us—How outrageous pricing and egregious profits are destroying our health care” (2013)
I agree with Jeanne. I agree with Steven. Americans do too.
The World’s Fifth-Largest Economy?
United States Health Care
But it’s six years since Steven Brill’s report and now we have recently ‘aged out children’ dying from rationing insulin, and Trump’s proposed 2020 budget which cuts trillions from Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare over the next 10 years.
We need to move to a health care system that reduces costs to reasonable prices and ensures all Americans have access to health care… Like Medicare for All.
